This is some news about ID cards. Even though they say, they won’t make it compulsory for most, we still must stop ID cards and refuse to comply. The govenment are not stupid, once so many people have them, they will make all of us have them. The govenment have proved many times, that it can not be trusted with our personal data. Remember NO2ID See here, for more detailed information on the fight against ID cards. www.no2id.net

Yes. Boil us slowly like a frog slowly. Its weird to think we are just an experiment to them.

Yes, but if we can’t have passports without them there won’t be many of us holding out. And once it’s down to 50,000 or so they’ll just round us up.

Anyone remember voting for this ?
The Lisbon Treaty creates a secretive new Standing Committee for Internal Security, known as COSI : new proposals will create an EU ID card register, internet surveillance systems, satellite surveillance, automated exit-entry border systems operated by machines reading biometrics and risk profiling systems.

What are we going to tell our grandchildren when they ask us why we let Big Brother happen ?

Its like China one child policy. Its the peoples choice at first. Then it was less government benefits for people with more than one kid. Then it was mandatory and the law to have one child.

We need to understand. There is no oposition in government. Its a con game. Conservatives oppose the Id cards now. But I will make a bet with you. All of you. That if conservatives get into power they will flip their side and vote YES for ID cards. Politicians dont work for the “drones”, us, the people.

When are the public going to understand. We dont have to accept ID cards if we dont want to. Im an individual. Nobody is going to tell me what to do. Im not goingto let posh boys Tony (no weapons in Iraq) Blair, Gordon(New World Order) Brown tell me what to do.

its horrible how students are least hostile to id cards. students used to be the most outraged at people encroaching on there freedom. now all they want is to be some big capitalist business man and snort coke all day.

Not forced? Bollocks. They’ll just make things as difficult as possible for people who don’t have one. Get Labour out at the next election!

The government needs to understand that they don’t own us and they never will. People can only be pushed so far until they snap and revolt and if they start forcing these cards on people that is what will probably happen.
July 9th, 2009 at 4:19 am
How can they expect us to believe that they won’t make us all have them. Remember the EU referendum.
